Today, we would like to introduce the Island Sightseeing Bus Tour operated by Shodoshima Kotsu Co., Ltd.

Departing from Tonosho Port at 10:15 a.m., this regular sightseeing bus tour allows you to relax and enjoy the highlights of Shodoshima all in one day—just sit back and enjoy the ride.

The first stop is Shodoshima Daikannon, standing gracefully on a hill overlooking the Seto Inland Sea.

Recently repainted with great care, the statue now shines in pure white and is often praised as

“the most beautiful Kannon in the world.”

Taking a moment to pray here at the beginning of your journey offers a peaceful, cleansing experience for the heart.

Next, the tour continues to Kankakei Gorge, one of Japan’s three most beautiful gorges.

After that, you will visit the Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village, the filming location of the beloved Japanese film Twenty-Four Eyes.
