新春お菓子投げ・初祈祷・拝観無料のお知らせ
謹んで新年のご挨拶を申し上げます。
旧年中は小豆島大観音に深きご信心と温かいご縁をお寄せいただき、誠にありがとうございました。
おかげさまで、小豆島大観音は建立三十周年の節目を迎え、皆様のご支援ご協力のもと、観音様のお色直しを無事に円成することができました。
新たに美しくお姿を整えられた観音様の御前にて、新しき年をお迎えできますこと、心より感謝申し上げます。
新春にあたり、観音様の広大無辺の御慈悲のもと、皆様の一年が安らかで実り多きものとなりますよう、下記の通り新年行事を厳修いたします。
◆ 新春お菓子投げ
令和８年１月１日（木）午後１時より
新しき年の始まりを寿ぎ、福徳を皆様と分かち合う「新春お菓子投げ」を執り行います。
年の初めに笑顔とご縁が結ばれますことを願い、どなた様もご自由にご参加いただけます。
◆ 新年のお参り・初祈祷
元日より新年のご参拝ならびに初祈祷を受け付けております。
一年のはじまりに心を正し、美しくお色直しを終えられた観音様の御前にて、
家内安全・無病息災・諸願成就をご祈念申し上げます。
◆ 拝観無料のご案内
令和8年1月1日（木）から1月4日（日）までの4日間、
日頃のご厚情への感謝を込め、すべての方を拝観無料とさせていただきます。
この機会にぜひ、新たなお姿の観音様とご縁を結んでいただければ幸いです。
新春の清らかな光の中、
三十年の時を経てなお変わらぬ慈悲をたたえ、
さらに尊くお姿を整えられた観音様の御加護が、
皆様お一人おひとりに等しく行き渡りますことを心よりお祈り申し上げます。

New Year’s Announcement
New Year Candy Toss, First Prayer of the Year, and Free Admission
We respectfully extend our New Year’s greetings to you all.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the sincere devotion and warm support shown to Shodoshima Daikannon throughout the past year.
Thanks to your continued support and cooperation, Shodoshima Daikannon has reached the important milestone of its 30th anniversary.
With deep gratitude, we are pleased to share that the restoration and renewal of the sacred statue of Kannon has been successfully completed.
We are truly thankful to welcome the New Year before Kannon, now renewed in beauty and dignity.
At the beginning of the New Year, under the boundless compassion of Kannon, we will hold the following New Year ceremonies, praying that the year ahead will be peaceful and filled with blessings for everyone.
◆ New Year Candy Toss
January 1, 2026 (Thursday), from 1:00 PM
To celebrate the start of the New Year and to share good fortune, we will hold a traditional New Year Candy Toss.
With wishes that smiles and joyful connections may arise at the beginning of the year, everyone is welcome to join freely.
◆ New Year Visit and First Prayer of the Year
From January 1, we will be accepting New Year visits and offering the first prayers of the year.
At the beginning of the year, we invite you to calm your mind and pray before the beautifully renewed statue of Kannon for family safety, good health, and the fulfillment of your sincere wishes.
◆ Free Admission
From January 1 (Thursday) to January 4 (Sunday), 2026,
admission will be free for all visitors as an expression of our gratitude for your continued kindness and support.
We hope you will take this opportunity to form a meaningful connection with Kannon in her renewed form.
In the pure light of the New Year,
we pray from our hearts that the unchanged compassion of Kannon, cherished over the past thirty years and now revealed in renewed splendor,
may extend equally to each and every one of you.
